Abstract

Digital transformation has become a critical strategic priority for organizations seeking to maintain competitive advantage in the modern economy. This study explores the relationship between digital transformation initiatives and firms’ innovation performance, examining how digital technologies and processes influence organizational innovation capabilities. Using a comprehensive dataset of firms across multiple industries, we analyze the mechanisms through which digital transformation affects innovation outcomes. The research examines various dimensions of digital transformation including digital infrastructure adoption, data analytics capabilities, process digitization, and digital culture development. We investigate both direct effects and mediating factors that influence the relationship between digital transformation and innovation performance. The findings provide insights for managers and policymakers on how to effectively leverage digital transformation to enhance organizational innovation capabilities.
